When the gas detector is low in power, we cannot use it for testing, and the gas detector will issue a low battery alarm signal. This is when we turn off the power and use a charger to charge the battery, each time for about 10-14 hours! After the battery is fully charged, it can be used again. However, some 2-year maintenance free gas detectors, such as the Delge PAC6000 gas detector or the Mesan Tianying maintenance free gas detector, do not require battery replacement during the 2-year service life.
